eSIM Installation
Your guide through each step, from the order to the connection.
In short: to activate an eSIM you scan the QR code you receive by e-mail (Settings › Mobile data › Add eSIM), install it in a few minutes and turn on data roaming for the eSIM profile. It is best done on Wi-Fi before you leave, so you are online as soon as you arrive.
Setting up an eSIM is quick: a few minutes is all it takes. The only things you need are a smartphone with eSIM support and Wi-Fi. Below, we show you precisely how.
Before you begin
- Verify that your phone is eSIM-capable (Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM)
- Make sure your device has no SIM lock
- Join a Wi-Fi network
- Keep the order email with your QR code to hand

Tips for the smoothest experience
- Install the eSIM over Wi-Fi ahead of your departure, and not in the airport
- Label the eSIM plan with your destination so you can spot it at a glance
- Switch data roaming off on your main SIM so no surprise charges appear
- Once you land, confirm that the eSIM has connected on its own
